StonesGoals highlights schedule was released this morning with just three games featured during the opening month of the season. With Chief Broadcaster Kev Williams on honeymoon until 12 August, the first two league games are ruled out.
StonesGoals will provide the usual in-match live service this season, starting with the first Saturday home fixture against Margate. A boozy Saturday 20th can be expected when Williams, nursing a hangover from his 30th the day before, films at Whitehawk. Another holiday the following week, this time for a friend’s wedding, eliminates any chance of filming the final two games of the month.
This season, I hope to be able to bring more action and better highlights – filmed in 4K ultra-HD for the first time. Further, it is my hope to keep this site relatively well updated with pre-match previews, in-depth analysis and stats with the usual smuttering of StonesGoals meets SkySports graphics… plus if time allows, it would be good to develop the service further by offering manager/player reaction – something which I’m aware has been badly missing from the highlights package offered.
